When we think of Betty White, we think of a sweet, funny little old lady who is larger than life. What we sometimes fail to realize is that she is exactly like the rest of us, with fears, hopes, dreams and regrets.
From IJReview:
Betty White recently appeared on an episode of OWN‘s “Where Are They Now?”
Oprah, the host of the show, asked White a simple, yet loaded question:
“At 93, do you have any big regrets?”
Without any hesitation she answered,
“That I spent a whole year, wasted a whole year, that Allen and I could have had together.”
Allen Ludden is Betty White’s late husband. They were married for 18 years, until he lost his life to cancer.
“[I said], no, I wouldn’t marry him. Saying, no, I won’t leave California. No, I won’t move to New York. I wasted a whole year we could have had together. But we made it. We finally did.”

There are certain things that are very important in life, and many, so many that are completely worthless.
