R.I.P. Margaret L. Robinson

Maude of Maude & Earl just passed away in Texas. They performed for many years in Salisbury at Johnny & Sammy's and Dockside Murphy's.

I remember my parents going to Johnny's and Sammy's to dance to Earl and Maude's music. That was probably in the 60's and 70's.

Anyone else remember when Dal Truitt was mayor and his hangout was the nightclub at Johnny & Sammies. Those were the days when the 'Bury was on top of the world on the Eastern Shore. We had the big indoor tennis tourney, lots of good jobs (Wayne Pump, etc.) and things were good.

What a difference now under Ireton and Day, its a disaster zone and getting worse fast.

6:21PM I remember it well, a different time, things were good, people were good, and friendly. I enjoyed it so very much.
