Parents are demanding answers after learning that a registered sex offender worked as the Easter Bunny at a Pennsylvania mall.
He was fired after three days on the job and now he's speaking out about what happened.
"I can understand, you know, where they're coming from, about them being upset. But what a lot of people need to realize is, you know, I wasn't put in jail for touching little kids," said Michael Paul Jacobs.
Jacobs worked at Westmoreland Mall as the Easter Bunny.
"My case -- it revolved around having consensual sex when I was a teenager myself, with another teenager," said Jacobs.
Jacobs was convicted in two different cases of having sex with a 15-year-old girl when he was 19.

If he slipped threw who else did to!!!! Stop worrying about marijuana and focus on cocaine and herion and sex offenders amd rapeist and voilent crimes or guns and gangs
Did you read his story?
The guy did what probably a lot of us could be accused of doing in the past.
Maybe we should focus on education, spelling and proper word usage.
Sex offenses are really mislabled by our state government. The public must be educated in that one "sex offense" most likely has little or nothing to do with another. This is a classic example. Painting this with a broad brush hurts those not deserving of permanent punishment or surveillance.

That is exactly right, 3:58. Additionally, it distracts from those who SHOULD be under permanent surveillance.
I was the Easter Bunny on Salisbury's Downtown Plaza many years ago. Skip Johnson asked me to do it, I was glad to and all had a great time.
BTW.., I'm guilty of the same crime this guy is.
3:15 Spot on. I wonder if 2:56 will get it. Unbeleavable.
