A majority of Americans, and more women than men, want a "fresh face" as the Democratic nominee, a blow to Hillary Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden, according to a new poll.
Rasmussen Reports revealed Thursday that only 22 percent believe that the Democrats should look to the past for their nominee, though no names were tested.
However Democratic voters, said Rasmussen, won't give up on candidates like Clinton and Biden who have run and lost before. Some 44 percent want to "promote a candidate who has run in the past," while 36 percent want a fresh face and over 20 percent are unsure.
That means 57 percent of Democrats won't commit to someone from the past, said the poll analysis.
Also of note is the lack of support for somebody like Clinton among women, the Democrat's target group. Rasmussen found that 55 percent of women and 53 percent of men want a "fresh face."

No more Clinton's, Please!
Rasmussen, isn't that the one that predicted a Romney landslide?
"Fresh Face"! Hillary is anything but a fresh face. She is starting to look like a real dog. She is not aging gracefully. She looks bad, and no amount of TV makeup is going to cover up ugly. Her camera face and her credibility are both going done the tubes fast.
Nor do we want 24/7 P.M.S!
