With nasty cold fronts thrusting an icy and early winter across the continental U.S. — along with last winter described by USA Today as "one of the snowiest, coldest, most miserable on record" — climatologist John L. Casey thinks the weather pattern is here to stay for decades to come.
In fact, Casey, a former space shuttle engineer and NASA consultant, is out with the provocative book "Dark Winter: How the Sun Is Causing a 30-Year Cold Spell," which warns that a radical shift in global climate is underway, and that Al Gore and other environmentalists have it completely wrong.
The earth, he says, is cooling, and cooling fast.
And unless the scientific community and political leaders act soon, cold, dark days are ahead.

Breath out more of that toxic CO2 that we exhale---warm the planet!!
Global whatever is a bunch of bunk and people have been duped by the liberal wackos
Don't you understand its cold because of global warming? And to get CO2 levels down we should kill all green plants because they give off CO2 when not in photosynthesis and all humans and mammals because they give off CO2 when they exhale. Only the liberal elites should be left in their self-contained bubble spheres to rule whats left of their sorry world.
When I was in High School, yes, HEBRON HIGH SCHOOL, I was taught that the very active sunspot activity was causing warmer summers and after a period of time the temperatures would be cooler until the next cycle. After 60 years, science has proved the politicians wrong again.
In ten years, I predict that 90% of the earth will be a frozen wasteland, and the Wooly Mammoths and sabre toothed tigers will rise from their graves and roam the earth once again!
Prepare or DIE!
Oh, look! Rolls of tinfoil!
The rich are running out of things to get more rich off of that is why they invented global warming.
