National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Watch from
Monday (1/26/2015) 9:00 PM to Tuesday (1/27/2015) 6:00 PM for
Wicomico County

HAZARDS: Snow and blowing snow.
*
ACCUMULATIONS: Snow accumulation of 3 to 6 inches possible.
*
TEMPERATURES: High near 43 Monday. Low Monday night around 30. High
Tuesday near 33.
*
WINDS: Northeast becoming north to northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts
up to 40
mph
*
TIMING: Rain during the day Monday will gradually change to snow
Monday evening.
The snow may become heavy
late Monday night into Tuesday morning.
A
Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant snow,
sleet or ice accumulations that my impact travel.

The
DES is continuing to monitor the situation in conjunction with the
Maryland Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) and the National Weather
Service. Additional Weather Bulletins will be issued if warranted.
