Bob Culver for getting elected in a hostile environment.
Lee Stevens just because he's Lee Stevens....and his massive biceps!
Hal Chernoff for his tireless efforts to guide the children of this town in a better direction by offering his time and wisdom.
Jim Ireton! Because of him, I can wear my wife's tight shorts, and ride my bike through the city without fear, due to the glorious bike lanes. Also, the trolley allows me to disappear quickly after I flash ladies in local establishments. Oh, and he wears flip flops to ribbon cuttings, and other important events, which shows class and dignity.
Bob Culver because he had the testicular fortitude to challenge the voters to take a more fiscally responsible course

Terry Cohen, because she stood up for the people and doing the right thing for seven plus years in a hostile environment.
And when it was time to go, she left with dignity and grace the scum sucking weasels who created that environment could only fantasize as theirs.
Mr Bob Culver because he brings Fresh Air to our county.
Retired Captain Paul Simon ( of Salisbury Police Department); who not teaches at Pinehurst Elementary now...
He gave so much of his talents and life to assist the Community for Decades...job well done...
How about bringing back the Turkey award (created by Bill "Duvafiles" Duvall).
This year IMHO it would be a tie between Ron Pagano, the County Council clown candidate, and his campaign person, Michael Pretl.

It was Paul himself who made his own nomination.
Michael Scott. He has done way more for the shore than anyone knows about. Lots of momentum and energy behind this guy!
