The problem as I see it, is people are too easily offended these days. People would be a whole lot better off if they would learn how it is in the REAL world and not some fantasy they are trying to create or wish to create where everything is rainbows and butterflies.
In the real world you are always going to come across some derogatory term-that offends some and not others. A visual that offends some-not others.
Children would be a whole lot better off if parents stopped raising them as weak and cowardly people who get offended and cringe at everything.
In the real world you are going to come upon people who do use words you don't like, and people need to deal with it and brush it off. This is not the worst thing you are ever going to deal with in your life and if it is then count your blessings. Some are dealing with hardships like debilitating health issues, children with fatal diseases.
When you are not tolerant of a bigot or a racist THEN you immediately become a bigot yourself as well as a hypocrite.
Everyone is born different. Now a days due to political correctness parents and others have been programmed and propagandized to mold children into being robots-all thinking and acting alike.
This is NOT the real world nor the way things need to be done.
Children are more screwed up then ever as witnesses by the amount of them on mind altering drugs already at such a young age.
While parents should teach their children to be kind to others they also need to teach them that they will encounter course people and while you don't have to agree with them, it's not your business to try and change them. It's their personality. That's playing God and God does not like that. He created different personalities and it's only for Him to change those people.
