Incident: Most Wanted Apprehension

Suspect: Kenneth Hunter Marvel, 44, Pittsville, MD
Narrative: On 19 November 2014 at 4:00 PM, a deputy extradited Kenneth Marvel back to Wicomico County following Marvel’s apprehension in Delaware. Marvel had been sought on a Circuit Court Bench Warrant that had been issued after he failed to appear fora CDS case.
Marvel was transported to the Detention Center where he was detained on bond pending an appearance in front of a Circuit Court Judge.

Suspect: Warren Brewster Ward, 51, Crisfield, MD
Narrative: On 19 November 2014 at 6:00 PM, Warren Ward surrendered at the Wicomico Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding District Court Bench Warrant that was issued after he failed to appear for a Driving While Suspended case.
Ward was released by the District Court Commissioner on Personal Recognizance.

Suspect: Jedidiah Jones, 31,Parsonsburg, MD
Narrative: On 20 November 2014 at 7:39 AM a deputy arrested Jedidiah Jones at the conclusion of an investigation into the thefts from several vehicles on a storage lot in the 35000 block of Laws Road in Pittsville. During the investigation, the deputy learned that a subject had opened the hoods on seven vehicles and removed each vehicle’s battery. In most of these thefts, the battery was removed after severing the battery cables.
During the ensuing investigation, the deputy located the purloined batteries at an area scrap recycler and observed that they still had the severed battery cables still attached to the batteries. The deputy brought them back to the repair shop where they were stolen from where they were positively identified as the ones stolen.
The deputy identified Jedidiah Jones as the individual who sold the batteries as scrap and subsequently obtained a warrant for his arrest. Upon arrest, Jones was processed at the Central Booking and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance.
Jones was charged with Burglary in the 4th Degree along with seven counts each of Theft, Rogue and Vagabond and Malicious Destruction of Property
The District Court Commissioner released Jones on Personal Recognizance.

Location: Delaware Avenue at Main Street, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Joseph Allen Jones, 28, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 20 November 2014 at 12:15 PM, a deputy responded to the area of Delaware Avenue after receiving information that a stolen vehicle had been reported in that area.Upon arrival, the deputy observed the vehicle in question, a 2005 Chrysler 300 that had been reported stolen to the Cambridge Police Department. The deputy stopped the vehicle and found that it was operated by Joseph Jones of Salisbury.
Jones was arrested and charged with theft of the motor vehicle. Upon transport to the Central Booking Unit Jones was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner.Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Jones in the Detention center in lieu of $25,000.00 bond.

Suspect: Jeremiah Townsend, 19,Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 20 November 2014 at 7:55 PM Jeremiah Townsend surrendered at the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding Circuit Court Bench Warrant. The warrant was issued in January 2014 after Townsend failed to appear for a case where he had been charged with Possession of a Regulated Firearm.
Townsend was detained at the Detention Center pending an appearance in front of a Circuit Court Judge.
