I'm currently watching the LIVE press conference in which they are trying to say Obama is on top of this global problem. They are saying they are prepared. They want to remind Americans that we have the best doctors, bar none.
"The U.S, is prepared to deal with this crisis". It will be stopped. We know how to do this and it will be stopped.
They claim they have been working many months to protect Americans. They have enhanced their surveillance including working with health departments. Emergency Units at Airports. PLEEEEEASE!
They are simply trying to cover their A$$ES and patting themselves on the back. What a load of crap!

Scientists working tirelessly to create new vaccines to combat Ebola. OK, what's that tell you people!
"Although Ebola is bad, it's not easily spread. You must come into direct contact with bodily fluids. It is not transmitted through the air. People are not contagious".
You know, I might trust some of these people IF they weren't reading from SCRIPTS. Our government clearly pre read and or wrote their speeches.

Walking past a sneezing person, and inhaling the mist is contact with bodily fluids. And the press conference is poo pooing the idea of testing symptomatic people.

They are idiots. The Dr said with a straight face it's acute and it kills at a high rate but trust us. Here is the problem contact tracing won't work when 30 people get this. I just saw a report on Ebola yesterday which stated that 5 years ago there was a facility in Reston, Virginia which dealt with monkeys and contagious diseases and bio-hazard stuff. The Ebola mutated and became air-borne and a monkey got loose but was later caught and the only ones that died were the monkeys but the point is that the Ebola mutated to an air-borne disease once so it certainly can again. And now we have a possible patient in Washington, DC. What do you want to bet that the usual "Washington residents" vacate, maybe on another vacation.
He's been FOS since he was born in Kenya. Why expect anything different now?
If the government won't police the travel situation with a ban, the airlines should. They are transporting a known deadly risk around the globe. Oh but they will wait til they are sued! and then backtrack and blame the government. Follow British Airways example!
