this guy had fundraiser for his kid at unos in fruitland..... a lot of people came.... i think it was for his kid getting chemo? there was something about cancer and there were pictures of a little kid on peoples tshirts. i definitely reconize the guy from that night.
Demone is a good enough guy, but he was a video tech guy at SU. How, exactly, does that qualify him to be a PIO?
This is nothing more than a sickening waste of taxpayer money to provide Ireton with a campaign mouthpiece at taxpayer expense. Now he has gone and given it to a buddy.

I feel like I live in Somerset county only friends and relatives get jobs.
Chris Demone is a good decent person who has struggled with the medical expenses of a child. This may have caused financial hardships like foreclosure and failure to renew license.
He is still a good and decent person. Don't attack him personally.
Having said that, I disagree with the position, spending money on the position, and finally with awarding the job to someone who is known to be a personal friend of the Mayor.
That is simply a poor choice and decision.
What this town really needs instead of a PIO is a new mayor. I thought Dems were all for the little guy but downtown parking is still raping the few that venture down there for longer than two hours. Amazing.
