This is nothing new. The Elks Lodge on Pine Street has always been a hotbed for violence and shootings. When I worked back in the eighty's for the Cambridge Police Department, there were always fights, stabbings, and occasional shootings, especially on Friday, and Saturday nights and on holidays. Just like Salisbury, it is not a safe place to go, especially at night. It is the Detroit of the eastern shore.
Me thinks Salisbury is more like the Detroit of the Eastern shore. Much more ghetto, homeless, and vacant properties.
