Somerset County Sheriff's Office 9-18-14

Walter Francis Cohee Jr. of Mardela Springs, arrested 9-4-14 for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, driver consuming alcohol in vehicle, and speeding. Cohee was later released on signatures pending court actions. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop conducted by deputies in the area of Crisfield Highway and Sign Post Road.

Latonya Monique Burton of Princess Anne, arrested 9-9-14 on a warrant for failing to appear in court. Burton was released after posting bond.

Nichole Elizabeth Baker of Salisbury, criminal summons served 9-12-14 for theft less than $1,000. Baker was released on signature pending court actions.

Eladio Mendez Diaz of Salisbury, arrested 9-12-14 on a warrant for failing to appear in court. Diaz was held on a $1,000 bond.

Richard Lee Belote Jr. of Eden, arrested 9-12-14 for driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, negligent driving, reckless driving, unsafe lane changes, and failure to transport a child under four in a child safety seat. Belote was released on signature pending court actions. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop conducted by deputies in the area of Ocen Highway, and Loretto Road.

Brock Patrick Campbell of Womelsdorf, and Brandon Lee Shoaff both from Pennsylvania arrested 9-14-14 for possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Womelsdorf and Shoaff were released on signatures pending court actions. The arrests were the result of a traffic stop conducted by deputies in the area of Ocean Highway, Westover where deputies stopped the vehicle for speeding and could smell the odor of  marijuana.

Eric Lee Miles of Salisbury, arrested 9-16-14 on a warrant for failing to appear in court. Miles was held on a $500.00 bond.

Zoe Lee Benton of Crisfield, arrested 9-15-14 on a warrant for violation of probation. Benton was held without bond.

Would the Sheriff please tell his men to STOP tail gating old people and making them nervous ! Deputy ,you know who you are STOP passing people on yellow lines on curves ! Please drive like you have some sense !
