SYNOPSIS: On September 18, 2014 the Fruitland Police Department began investigating several incidents of thefts from unsecured vehicles during the previous evening and early morning hours. Several unsecured vehicles in the area of East Main Street, Nina Lane and Irl Lane were entered and valuables were taken. A possible time frame for the thefts is believed to be between 11:00 PM and 2:00 AM. Anyone that may have observed anything in those areas during that night or that may have any information is urged to call (410) 548-2803. Anyone in those areas that may have home surveillance video is asked to review it and forward any potential information to the Fruitland Police. Any available officer will be able to assist. The Fruitland Police would also like to remind citizens to lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight to reduce the opportunities for criminals. Please report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood immediately.
