So True

No, Obama doesn't get to decide that. The constitution does by not mentioning anything about being Christian, by banning laws that respect the establishment of religion, and banning religious tests to be in public office.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;
This does not mean that government can respect nor disrespect religion, this means that government has no dominion over one religion. subsequently, the we enjoy "freedom OF religion" not "Freedom FROM religion"

7:19,

24 of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Ind. were ordained Christian ministers or grads from seminary schools.

34% of the Constitution comes from direct
Scripture and verses in the Bible.

The Bill of Rights states the government
cannot establish a government church,ie
The Church of England,but the Founding Fathers fully intended the gov. to be run on Christian principles.

The Constitution clearly states the minimum requirements to hold office and bans any testing,ie. spelling,grammar,math,religious ect.

Google any of the FF's and their writings clearly show they were guided by Christian principles forming this country. They had Christian prayer before every meeting and held Christian
Church services in the Capitol on Sunday mornings. Members of Congress frequently preached sermons.

@8:10

The reason there is an establishment clause is exactly why we have freedom FROM religion. It is there so the state can't impose a religion on us... ispo facto freedom FROM religion.

This country was founded on freedom FROM religion. The first people who settled this land came here to escape religious persecution, because they didn't want to be told what sort of religiosity to subscribe to... to be free FROM religion.

So while we have freedom OF, we also have freedom FROM.. no one can impose their religiosity upon another.

@8:23

I challenge your 34% assertion. Please substantiate.

Also, specify what you mean by "guided by Christian principles". Which principles, and how are they inherently Christian, and why wouldn't you find these principles elsewhere?

You also cleverly left out that many of our founding fathers were DEISTS.

I'm so sick of hearing these tired false memes parroted over and over.

America is not a theocracy and we don't want it to be.

Our government was founded by freemasons. It was religious. It was and remains satanic.

13 stars in a circle. 13 stripes of which 6 are virgin white and 7 are blood sacrifices.

It was a witches coven.

It may be Judaic.

It has NOTHING to do with Jesus Christ.

This is 8:10

The government, given the power to either mandate or protect us from religion is still by default giving "it" power.
Congress shall make NO LAW respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.
This amendment simply strips the power from the government to mingle in religion.
This is very uncomfortable for most people because the responsibility for dealing with religion is left to the individual.
Read the tenth amendment you will see the thyme.

@8:10 who is also 12:49

Would that then be a retraction from you on your assertion that we don't have freedom "from" religion as you asserted earlier?

Because as 11:30 clearly put forth logical arguments that we do indeed have freedom "from" religion, you must be retracting your assertion since you did not address the rebuttal.
