Check out the Foster Care stipends for each state at:
http://www.childrensrights.org/policy-projects/foster-care/hitting-the-marc-foster-care-reimbursement-rates/foster-care-rates-by-state/
The
rates vary widely. There are about 11,000 kids in foster care in
Maryland. The max per kid (not including other stipends) is $750 per
month. There are increases to this number based on other needs, such as
medical care or monitoring within the home.
Maryland has among the highest rates in the nation.
Another facet of the poverty magnet that Maryland (and Salisbury) has
become.

Was this post and the one above regarding unaccompanied minors intentionally put together? They should be because they both involve foster children and the same basic dollar per month amount.
I could use an extra $750 a month to help raise my kids. It burns me up that my hard earned tax money will be used to support illegals that should be sent home.
