Ghetto - Democrats in Power

Like Salisbury.

That is the most truth I have ever seen spoken.

This is a fact. The democrat platform is to keep people enslaved after all it was they who were all for slavery and didn't want the slaves freed.
This new edition of modern day slavery is worse because the slaves have to fear each other now as well. Crime is rampant in these ghettos.
The ghetto dwellers can not be helped though until they wise up and stop voting democrat. Experience is the best teacher with these type of people. Nothing will change until they do. It starts with someone honest enough (and you won't find honesty in the democrat party) to tell them like it is. Stop having babies you can't afford and with multiple Baby Daddies most of whom are criminals without a pot to take a leak in.

Looks like Crisfield.

And if you can find an elderly Republican living nearby, they'll always say "I can remember when this neighborhood was beautiful".

How about a contrasting picture of Montgomery Co. another democratic power center?

Right on,pick any city in the country and it's run down.Follow the kook running NY it is doing good now because of Bloomberg but look at it in 2 years.

Obama as well as every other single democrat are losers through and through. Everything they have ever touched has gone to hell and this is a fact. Democrat is the party for all those in the moron/imbecile/idiot IQ levels. As well as the party of pathological liars, and those with no principles or morals.

Is that Ghettobury, MD ran by Mare Liarton and Fake Day.

12:00 PM you are comparing apples to oranges. Montgomery County Maryland is indeed ran by Democrats and they need a place to live. They wouldn't dare live in places like Salisbury, Delmar, Crisfield or Princess Anne. They are the elite politicians which would prefer the middle class to lower class Democrats live in places like Salisbury, Detroit and Chicago.

The point of the picture is a Ghetto and ALL ghetto's are ran into the ground by Democrats. I hope you are not Chuck Cook trying to put a twist on things as you live in Ghettobury.

12:00-Contrary to popular belief Montgomery county isn't that great. There are a few pockets of wealth amid overwhelming crime and poverty. When you have an area like Potomac this raises the income levels because they are averages.
When you have 10 people making say $10,000/yr and one person making $500,000/yr the area's household income becomes above $50,000. There are several CEO's living in MontCo whose base salaries (not including bonuses) are in the 12-20 million dollar a year range.
You look at most of the incorporated cities and towns within MontCo and they are overrun with crime and poverty, high unemployment, high drop out rates, etc and the governments of these towns are broke. MontCo as well is facing a 71 million dollar budget shortfall and is scrambling to not have to cut essential services.

Montgomery County? SNORT!

It's wealthy because it feeds off the federal government. All the politicians and lobbyists don't want to live and shop and build in the ghettos of DC.

I'm not sure I agree with this theory, but all you did was support it by bringing up elitist Montgomery County.

Give me your poor and hungry and I will make them worse.

You should check out some of the rural areas in many Red states. Make a Delmarva look positively affluent.

2:10-there is a huge difference in a rural area and a ghetto. The rural areas you speak of aren't the crime ridden war zones of the inner cities which have been controlled by the democrats for generations.

West Salisbury and NEW arts bs building.

12:34 nailed it. There is a small number of elite upper class people in places in Montgomery county-Potomac, Chevy Chase and Bethesda.
That county has a poverty level higher than the national average as well as higher than Wicomico county.
It wasn't always that way and just so happened to coincide with the shift from a comfortably Republican area to a democrat stronghold. As soon as the democrats got a foot in the door in the 1980's, the county has gone downhill ever since. The democrats "embraced" the illegals which has caused a strong presence of gang activity (MS13) as well as bringing in large numbers of "affordable housing." This has caused a huge financial drain on the county who does face huge shortfalls.
While crime is still fairly low, anyone who watches the news or reads the papers does notice that a lot of the crime reported in DC is committed by those with addresses within Montgomery county such as Langley Park, Long Branch, Wheaton, Aspen Hill, White Oak, Briggs Chaney and even along further into Gaithersburg and Germantown now.

2:10 Cite some examples or your comment is just drivel because you don't have an answer. I bet you are Chuck Cook.

Rural areas? The point of picture is referring to cities like Salisbury, Detroit and Chicago. Please quit trying to throw out diversions with your mindless comments.

When Jim Ireton gets his way with the 5 District Council you will see Salisbury look just like that picture.

The Democrats have nothing to come back with because they know this is the truth. It's difficult for them to face the facts.

Vote Republican if you want to stop this.

Chuck Cook is actually speechless.

You are correct. I used to work in White Oak in the mid 80s and it was a nice place. My parents lived in the Glenmont area when I was born and we moved to Howard County when I was 2. My grandparents remained in Glenmont until apartments surrounded them and they ended up selling in the late 80s. It was a nice place but I remember the last time I was there Aspen Hill had very few that spoke English as their first language. They have spread more and more in the county. There are still parts of some towns that are nice. Some parts of Gaithersburg and Germantown are nice. Darnestown is still nice. Most of the upper County towns are ok also. Damascus has grown but now they are getting overrun by people that speak Spanish. Frederick is even having problems with them in the last few years. Many of the people my husband went to school with in Montgomery County have moved out of the county, as we did, because they can't afford to even live there. I have to wonder how the ones that are just getting to this country are able to afford it.
We won't even talk about traffic! Put me behind a tractor any day of the week and it is better than the beltway.

Sby will soon look like this but our city and council dumbocrats are worried about fireboats and new sports complexs while the city roads, infrastructure and jobs go down the chitty wico river. Also the military state is alive and well in wico just ride down naylor mill road and look at up @ "411" and see all the chargers ,tahoes and numerous more new makes of take home vehicles all being propelled with 3 dollar plus taxpayer gasoline.Get out ppl like joe did and move to delaware.Stick a fork in wico it sure as hell is overdone.

^^^My grandparents remained in Glenmont until apartments surrounded them and they ended up selling in the late 80s.^^^

You hit the nail on the head when you said apartments. When you have apartments you have rental property and you have crime. Rental property eventually runs down and if it gets worse it becomes a ghetto. Apartments and rental properties sound familiar? Yes that is what we have in Salisbury. Crime, low income, poverty = Ghetto = Democrats.

4:40-they can afford it because they don't have the same standard of living as we do. It's not unusual for the immigrants to buy homes and the extended family plus one or 2 non related person moving in to help with expenses. They also don't have the same pride of ownership and tend to not spend money on keeping the home looking nice. This is what is happening in north Arlington VA another DC suburb. If you happen to have the misfortune of living next to one of these homes in Arlington (where a 3 bedrm, 2 bath circa 1950's house can get somewhere in the $600,000-700,000 range) your own home's value immediately drops $100,000-200,000.

SHHH we have to have ghetto's just like we have to have prisons. I don't want them folks living anywhere near me and my family.
