A 2010 Pentagon directive on military support to civilian authorities details what critics say is a troubling policy that envisions the Obama administration’s potential use of military force against Americans.
The directive contains noncontroversial provisions on support to civilian fire and emergency services, special events and the domestic use of the Army Corps of Engineers.
The troubling aspect of the directive outlines presidential authority for the use of military arms and forces, including unarmed drones, in operations against domestic unrest.
“This appears to be the latest step in the administration’s decision to use force within the United States against its citizens,” said a defense official opposed to the directive.
Directive No. 3025.18, “Defense Support of Civil Authorities,” was issued Dec. 29, 2010, and states that U.S. commanders “are provided emergency authority under this directive.”
“Federal military forces shall not be used to quell civil disturbances unless specifically authorized by the president in accordance with applicable law or permitted under emergency authority,” the directive states.
“In these circumstances, those federal military commanders have the authority, in extraordinary emergency circumstances where prior authorization by the president is impossible and duly constituted local authorities are unable to control the situation, to engage temporarily in activities that are necessary to quell large-scale, unexpected civil disturbances” under two conditions.

The Bundy Ranch was a dry run test. Now the Federal government knows exactly what and who to expect. They have purchased plenty of ammo and militarized all Agencies. Tyranny cometh.
7:13 Not so much. You see that these government thugs live among us in our neighborhoods. They don't work 24/7. They come home to sleep, go shopping, go to ballgames and parks, etc. WE can pick em off one at a time.
Unfortunately, and I thought I'd never say this, 7:13 is probably more coirrect than he is wrong. If King Barry looses the Senate in the midterms, the following 2 years are unpredictable.
If the big A$$hole loses the senate, he will use the 911 laws to suspend elections, and declare himself president for life! He will then rule by presidential decree and bypass the senate, and congress altogether!
I wish one of those nuts would take him out instead of a bunch of innocent kids!
I do hope the Secret Service keeps track of this seditious blog and all of it's little chicken-hawk traitors.
contact your reps. now. at least try to get the word out and put pressure on them.

lol. you don't think they already know? Or care? Pressure? What pressure?
If ANY change is going to come about, it will have to come from "we the people". NO ONE in government is going to do anything that will rock the boat or give up the slightest iota of power.
They may sound polite and caring on the phone or in an email, but that is as far as it will go.
"We the people" are lazy. Our reps are even LAZIER. If no person has the gumption to get off their butts and DEMAND what they want, why should a gov't employee who will still get paid and still retain the same amount of power and influence?
This government is our enemy, not our friend. The sooner everyone realizes that, the sooner they come face to face with reality.
People have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to see it already.
Your reps are part of the whole scheme. Wake up dumb heads

You are an idiot if you think he would do this if he loses the Senate. You say losing the Senate is a bad thing. If we retain the House and win the Senate things will be much better for Americans.

Word well spoken and my thoughts exactly.
I was hoping Andy Harris would have been a better Representative for the people, but he has become a big disappointment.
9:30 AM
thank you but I wish I were wrong.
I keep telling you, and it's plainly evident to ANYONE who will take 5 minutes to research -- they are getting ready to put the hammer down on America and its citizens. I'm not talking isolated incidents that can explained away....I'm talking about across the board, large scale preparations and practice for internal conflict, be it civil insurrection or outright revolution. Ray Charles could see it.
And 9;32, YOU can call the Secret Service on me anytime you like. I don't post anything under the sissy, (afraid of the government you so soundly praise and defend??) moniker of "anonymous".
Stand for what you believe in, or hide behind "anonymous" and whimper like a little girl....
12:07 you are spot on, not like some of the sheeple on here. I heard that he would try for a 3rd term and could poss stay pres. till death, I read about it 6 or 8 mnths ago. We had one pres. who served 4 terms once who says it wouldn't happen again
