Some seniors aren't stupid but do suffer from early forms of dementia - there is also an intimidation factor, plus cultural respect for "authority" among older folks. Do not call these people stupid. Anyone who has had to protect an aging parent from scumbags like this knows exactly what I'm talking about.
The REAL problem here is the scam artist who PREYED upon these elderly folks, and THAT is WHO you should be blaming, folks.
Find her, catch, charge her with theft, fraud, drug offenses and elder abuse, because that is what she did. She abused these people.
These "stupid old people" are our parents and grand parents. They grew up at a time when things like this didn't happen and they are trusting by nature. It is a shame that scum would prey on them for their medications. Remember a week or two ago? All those large heroin busts in DE. Now there must be a shortage in the Bury, so the addicts are on the hunt for prescription alternatives. Don't be surprised if some pharmacies get robbed soon too.
These people are not stupid. They are elderly and trusting. That could have been my grandmother. I hope they catch the piece of crap that was doing this.
I seriously doubt that happened. The only way you can get a refill on a controlled substance early is file a police report that it was stolen. I work with addicts everyday and they will go to any lengths to get their fix

You can't fix stupid.Stupid resident that is.
Are people that stupid to fall for this? Holy crap. Idiots.
Just wait until YOU get old and lonely.
Are there no security cameras at Gateway Village? You would think that a place that has elderly as its body of residents would invest in some.
Yeah, if you're dumb enough to fall for this you deserve to get robbed. LOL.
I woulda put some altoids in the bottle and told her it was a new kinda oxy.

The giant pill companies and the docs that get rich selling them are the real criminals. The whole damn nation is hooked on something.
FRAUD ALERT??
Is Obama in town?
Fraud is always associated with Obama's people!

I'm a little confused as to why anyone would bring their medicine to the front door to allow someone to handle it.
What is the 'center'? Is that a normal practice there?
I guess the good side of this is that the mystery woman did not take all of her medicines.

Including hacking into medical records to determine who actually was prescribed the desired drugs. No need breaking into a house for Tylenol.
