Another Oil Train Explodes in Town; River Contaminated: Who Wants Keystone Now?

Another major derailment of a train carrying oil through a town in the U.S. has caused the evacuation of 300 people, with oil washing into the James River in Virginia, which feeds into the Chesapeake Bay.

“A CSX train carrying crude oil derailed Wednesday afternoon in downtown Lynchburg, Va.,” reports Bloomberg, “prompting the evacuation of some 300 people. Six cars went off the tracks, and local news reports cite at least three breaches on a train carrying between 12 and 14 tank cars loaded with crude. Early videos and pictures posted by onlookers show plumes of black smoke billowing up from the crash. No injuries have been reported yet, although witnesses described a floor-shaking explosion that sent a fireball almost 200 feet into the air.”

So much for the “pipelines aren’t safe” argument that’s been delaying the obvious, easy choice to build the Keystone Pipeline.

Both pipelines and petroleum rail are prime targets for terrorists, not so much for the possible fires or definite pollution, but to disrupt the flow of commerce, cause an increase in fuel prices at all levels and to cause anxiety and panic.
Some of those terrorists are among us, and many more support them in quiet ways.

A scare tactic.

Who said pipelines aren't safe? Natural gas pipeline-which are under great pressure are very safe. Crude oil pipelines are perfectly safe. And once constructed only cost a tiny fraction to maintain.

2:04 Exactly.
A scare tactic used by the environmental terrorists to cause panic with false flag environmental disasters that will be publicized to sway public opinion against said projects and use.
Much like POS Obama and liberal Democrats do on a regular basis. They cause the problem surreptitiously then claim they are the savior that will come to the rescue. This is a Communist/Marxist tactic much like we see being employed in Ukraine by Putin and Moscow used as a pretense to invade.

So, propane tank farms, rail shipments of propane, oil, fuel oil, trucks carrying gasoline and diesel, and all our fuel depots are totally immune from terrorist attacks, but the Keystone Pipeline would be a terror magnet. Kind of like the Alaskan pipeline is.

I get it?
