My heart goes out to these victims. In the early 1980's my house was broken into, we were robbed and left with a huge mess from the ransacking. It's very troubling to think that someone has the nerve to invade you space and steal from you. I have not ever been without a large dog ever since.
My kids grew up with "lock the doors, even when you're home". It's especially good advice now.
Those rich neighborhoods will get extra patrols….
they should get extra patrols. they pay more taxes then the ghetto neighborhoods like church st that are only draining city and county resources.
Detective Funk should investigate who proofread the press release and missed the spelling error.
A Hispanic man came to the door at a home in Nutters Crossing and didn't seem to understand English very well. He said he was there for roof repair but no one called to have roof repair at that address!
Don't know if that incident is connected to the robberies or not.
Where is General Lee while all of this is going on?

It is possible but looking at the WCSO press releases, most of the theft/burglaries are caucasian males with a drug addiction. Most of the hispanics are arrested for lack of DL/insurance/dui.

Only relaying the facts I was told.
As. I said the incident may be unrelated.
The Incident did happen during the day. She was on the cell phone and didn't let him in. Now she is concerned he might have seen something in the house. He really wasn't dressed for roofing either. At least he was not treating at that time.
Most of those rich people don't even cut their own grass…there are plenty of mexicans in those neighborhoods every day doing landscaping…You need to be on the look out for Bubba and his "cousin"!
this time of year there are lots of people going through neighborhoods looking for work....they need to be monitored in some way - it is uncomfortable as a homeowner to have these strangers ringing the doorbell or approaching you when you are outside. It would be nice to see police, whether it be sheriff or city, ride through these "safe" neighborhoods once in a while. Even the "religious" ones need to be monitored - it is offensive to have them try to force their beliefs on you and who knows if they are on the level too.
You should put a guard house and gates at the entrance to your neighborhood so you can monitor all the undesirables.

That's not how it works. I don't wish any harm on anyone but most of what I've seen going into Nutters are a-holes anyway. Maybe that is karma coming their way.
