It's certainly ugly. But it's not the biggest problem our city has. If the Tokyo Steakhouse doesn't want to fix it, let the shame fall on them for taking no pride in their business. If something this gross is on the outside, imagine what's hiding in the back!
12:22 Once again someone speaks that knows nothing! These are great owners and have excellent food! The question here is why they have not fixed their sign. Code and Compliance should just ask that simple question and not inject trash statements like you did!
Guess I missed the story. I only have pics of a degrading sign showing how long Tokyo Steakhouse has been around. Been there alot. Never had a problem. Seems they spend their money on keeping customers happy & food safe.
If they are as responsive as they were to my inquiry about fence requirements in an historic district submitted in early October, they will have a long wait.
They are also the ones that has ASAP pooper scoopers there not to long ago pumping something out through the back kitchen door. Joe had a picture of that posted on here.

I would be scared to paint it red, they might get Ireton coming after them to check how much floor space they have dedicated to sushi.
ps.. incase you don't get it this is a sarcastic remark in regards to red light district.

Are they even still open?

Might have been a bad paint job/repair. If you look at street view goggle map, the sign was damaged above the T and was white not red.
Whoever thinks the food is good there obviously knows little about the kitchen. The place smells wrong the minute you walk in the door!!
it's outrageously expensive, but the "show" is kinda nice. We go about once a year, I don't know why everyone loves this place though.
The food is horrible. Too much soy sauce and salt
Personally I liked Shoney's better.
It looks like a sign right after 1945.

The food is great! Nice people too
Get rid of code & comp, then lower taxes and maybe people will be able to afford to fix up there businesses.

That is a nasty place eat and I will never go back. YUK!! You people defending them obviously don't know good food.
It's a nice atmosphere...most local restaurants are poorly run by people not wanting to be there.
Does anyone know what has happened to Fratellis? Are they ever going to reopen?
