A late-night talk show host walked into a bar and — luckily, this doesn’t end with a punch line.
But “The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon was rattled Thursday when a brawl broke out around him at East Village rock club Niagara.
“Fallon was pretty shaken up,” a source close to him told the Daily News. “He was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and chaos erupted around him.”
The popular haunt is operated by area musicians, including solo artist Jesse Malin and Johnny “T” Yerrington, who has drummed with Ryan Adams’ band. The grungy Avenue A hot spot is marked by an exterior mural of former Clash front man Joe Strummer with the caption “The future is unwritten.”
