Boston Marathon Victim Storms Off ‘Meet the Press’ After Being ‘Disrespected’

A survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing stormed out of a scheduled interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press” in tears on Friday.

Adrianne Haslet-Davis, a dancer who lost part of one leg during the attack, said NBC promised not to name alleged bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev in her presence but did not follow through on the request.

She tweeted after the incident:

• I feel so disrespected @meetthepress I asked politely yesterday and you said yes. Now you choose to use the name instead.

Dead beat journalists on their own agenda...another reason not to watch NBC programming! Some people just have no respect for someone else's feelings.

So she wants to go on their TV program, and wants to control the conversation? This chick needs to take a half step back.

David Gregory is the classic nepotist --- a high profile job because Daddy has clout in Hollywood

--the guy is insignificant and very disingenuous--totally representative of everything wrong with the American media today

To celebrate and shout out the names of the bombers is an insult to every Marathoner. Period. She has a completely valid point!

I didn't see the show so, if she was there to show how life moves on after losing a limb, I agree. If she was there to talk about the incident of how she lost a limb, I disagree with her.
