(CNSNews.com) - The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee says the public "deserves a full and truthful explanation" for the actions of its ranking member, Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), whose staff "surreptitiously contacted the IRS" about a conservative group that was seeking tax-exempt status -- and was subjected to inappropriate scrutiny.
Cummings never told committee Republicans about his contacts with the IRS concerning the group True the Vote. In fact, he has denied any such contact.

I hope they continue to investigate Cummings (Md.) and lock him up. Another crocked, lying, deceptive democrat. must go soon.
He should be taken off the committee that is charged with investigating--
Cummings is now complicit in this Felonious action.
Does the fact that he is Black supposed to indicate he is free to break the Law? This entire group in DC needs checks and balances
Cummings has always been a crook and his crook buddies in PG county make sure he stays in office so they can continue to rape both federal and state coffers. He should have been jailed years ago.
