A Special Presidents' Day Message

In Honor of Presidents' Day
Today, I would like to extend a very special Presidents Day message to you and your family.  

Sometimes, and more often than not, we the people forget what this day is really about.

It is about more than a day off or a time to go shopping. It is about the many freedoms that we enjoy in this country and why they are worth fighting for.

 From the birth of our country to today, our nation's story remains unchanged. It is the ongoing fight to preserve our freedoms.  

That fight started at Bunker Hill, preserved at Gettysburg and fought for again and again in two world wars, a cold war and in skirmishes throughout a fragile peacetime.  

As we pause to remember the men and women who led our country through those many years of war, peace, and prosperity, let us also remember the immortal words of President Ronald Reagan who said so eloquently:  

"Freedom is never more than a generation away from extinction. We did not pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States when men were free."  President Ronald Reagan  

Today, more than ever, we must pass the torch of freedom to the next generation as it was passed on to us. That is our challenge and our sacred duty.

real patriots will never honor the POS communist that is in power in the white house.

Craig would be a good Governor, I have met him, talked with him...he would get rid of Common Core, balance the budget, restore sanity in Maryland.
