A U.S. Naval Administrative Officer severely affected by Fukushima’s radiation is telling his story, further exemplifying why the U.S. government cannot be trusted to inform the public on Fukushima’s danger.
Involved in the USS Ronald Reagan’s rescue efforts following the 2011 Fukushima nuclear plant meltdown, Steve Simmons began experiencing devastating symptoms several months after returning home.
“You’re starting to run fevers, your lymph nodes start swelling, you’re having night sweats, you’re getting spastic and you’re losing sensation in your legs, and you can’t feel your legs when you’re getting 2nd degree burns on them, and how do you explain those things?” Simmons told WUSA 9 News

I wish I could relate to this,but I've been exposed to high amounts of radiation since I was about 5 years old.I'm 61 now.Too bad for those who will have to acclimate or die,which is almost everyone.Our government is powerless to stop the spread,so keeping us posted is futile.Even the combination of world powers couldn't stop this if they wanted to.It has been really nice knowing all of you.

wow you really think our government lies to us? of course they lie to us! you can't handle the truth! I for one have stopped eating salmon! and anything else that could come out of the pacific ocean! and told all my friends to stay out of the pacific ocean. We need to start taking readings down at the beach here so we can monitor when the levels eventually do rise. and rise the will!
