GOVERNOR O’MALLEY TO PRESENT BALANCED FY 2015 STATE BUDGET
ANNAPOLIS, MD (January 14, 2014) -- Tomorrow, Governor O’Malley will host a briefing for media on the FY 2015 state budget at 11:00 a.m. in the Governor’s Reception Room in Annapolis. The Governor will discuss how this budget (i) closes the $584 million revenue shortfall without tax or fee increases, (ii) puts the State on a path to totally eliminate the structural deficit by FY 2017, and (iii) supports 48,000 jobs and makes strategic investments in other shared priorities, including quality schools, affordable college, and restoring the health of the Chesapeake Bay.

Speaking of Jim Ireton did you notice the puff piece in the Daily Rag about crime going down. The Rag deleted a comment from a reader this morning that said something like "Don't believe that lie."
Tax and Fee Increases... they don't try to hide it.
Passing costs to locals
O'Malley and his budget-- what are the projections for his Casinos? This sounds like the Clinton Surplus of lies -- I still want an accounting of the Public Service Retirement fund and a transactional accounting since he became Governor --that 300,000$ bonus to the Administrator seems like hush money to me
So, "balanced by 2017" means "not balanced at all for this year OR next", right?
