In common sense language what is this supposed to say? I will stand my ground with my Constitutional rights. Is Conway trying to say that if some guy is bashing my head in with a hammer I have a right to stab him in the nuts with a pitch fork? Come on Norm, are you saying that I can protect myself, or not? And, I did not mention the word gun.

I responded to an alarm at the school where Delegate Conaway's wife taught. I was somewhat surprised to see that they were already checking the school. When I advised that I would lead the way, Delegate Conaway told me it was ok, as he was ready, since he had a concealed carry permit and was carrying a gun in his pocket. I bet he would have retreated instead of drawing his gun to stop a property crime. Yes I'm still a LEO, and I am still amazed that we keep electing all of these Hippocrates.

yup norms got his but you aint getting yours! typical but seriously norm would have a very hard time retreating. takes him the better part of the day just getting all that lard moving, heavens forbid he would have to change direction! not gonna happen!

Thus says that even if you are in your home if you have a way to retreat, as in exit the home, if you fight back you cannot claim self defense

Conaway needs to be put out to pasture

Conaway is a liberal fool. When they come to his house to steal rape and kill his wife and daughter (not necessarily in that order) is he going to contemplate the idiotic nuances of his liberal gobble-t-gook proposal? I THINK NOT.
