Federal prosecutors said Thursday they will seek the death penalty against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in the Boston Marathon bombing.
The final decision was made by Attorney General Eric Holder and was announced Thursday. The twin blasts in April killed three people and wounded more than 260 in one of the most prominent terrorist attacks in the U.S since 9/11.
Prosecutors allege that Tsarnaev and his brother, Tamerlan, ethnic Chechens from Russia who had lived in the Boston area for about a decade, planted two pressure cooker bombs near the finish line. Tamerlan Tsarnaev died in a shootout with police.

And let's make the execution by exploding pressure cooker, held in his lap.
Please. Let me pull the switch on that POS BUT the united states was warned about them by the Russians and we did NOTHING.
Why is he still breathing?
He should have been tried a week after his capture and hanged immediately after he was allowed to visit with relatives to say goodbye and apologize for his crimes.
Dead, gone and long forgotten by now with a great deal of savings for the American tax payer.
He shouldn't even make it to a trial. This is an attack on America, a war crime. I bet Obama says it's workplace violence.
9:46 - with the pressure cooker cooking a pork-butt!
Hey there Bill Ayres!.... brothers Tsarnaev and Tamerian must make you feel real proud!
However, you and your wife got to live another day.
Pathetic!
Well, I certainly hope so!
(Execution)
Holder is saying this to make him sound tough, when all the while he is hoping that a possible death sentence will encourage Tsarnaev and his attorneys to settle for a life sentence and never even go to trial. We all know democrats are against the death penalty, Holder is another puppet of the regime.
If some loudmouth had just not told authorities about the boat he wouldn't have lasted much longer. He would have bled to death, case closed.
Lets not all be so hasty, maybe he had a bad childhood, maybe someone offended his Muslim sensitivities. Bet you did not think about that.
