Hogan Chooses Boyd Rutherford As Running Mate

RIVA, Md. (AP) -- Republican Larry Hogan has chosen Boyd Rutherford as his running mate in his campaign for governor.

Hogan made the announcement Wednesday night next to a waterside crab house near Annapolis.

Like Hogan, Rutherford was a member of former Gov. Robert Ehrlich's cabinet.

Just read that PJ Purnell mayor of Crisfield has filed to run for delegate of Somerset and Wicomico against Charles Otto.

I don't think the house needs more democrats, the shore is fortunate to have a few good conservatives in the house and I see no advantage of electing someone that would only join with the western shore democrats.

I hope that Rutherford makes a good running mate for Hogan, we need this change in Annapolis.
