A corrections officer was arrested and charged with assault Tuesday after an internal investigation concluded that he broke the law when he violently slammed an inmate’s head against a concrete wall for “spitting” at an officer.
Disturbing video shows officer Charles Broaderick, 41, telling DUI suspect James Duckworth, who allegedly had to be restrained, to stop being difficult. The incident took place at the Marion County Jail in Florida.
“You’re being treated how you’re acting. You’re acting like an [expletive], you’re being treated as an [expletive],” Broaderick says.

It's time to call the cops on this one...
Oh, wait...
That pisses me off. All of those officers including the nurse should be charged with assault and battery. This was unprovoked. I have a hard time believing that the police have gotten so far out of control, however just look at the corruption in the White House.
Nice Jackboot; he let him live. $2000 bail? There will be nothing done about this, and the "officer" will get his back pay.
Then, he will repeat with his obviously complicit "partner". Does anyone notice here there was a team of TWO "officers" involved and helping each others agenda"
Tell me, If I was driving a getaway car in a bank robbery, and obeyed ALL traffic laws, would I be charged with Bank robbery? Dang straight, I would!
But it's different for cops. Right, Imclain?

You call spitting in the officers face unprovoked?
You spit on me, I'll bust your ass, in less than a split second. Cop haters looking for excuses always find them. What would you pansies do if he spit on you, your wife, or your children, huh????? The exact same thing, if you're a man. Cry me a river.
7:07-All they would do is stand there and look stupid according to their comments.
Who said he spit on anyone? Oh, the cop who busted his head against the wall. Okay, so everything's been verified here.
Right?
Criminals have more rights than cops or every day law abiding citizens.
I must really be blind because I dint see him "spit" at a "officer".
There was less crime when there was NO cameras ...remember the old days? Now Everybody is a Lawyer. ((((

I bet you didn't feel the spit either.
We have some real stupid comments on this one , if a man spits on you what would you do?
Well now , let me say this , the ones who are bad mouthing the officer are idiots. I would have done much worse.
If you respect , then you will get it back.
Spitting on anyone constitutes an assault charge and an ass whooping.
4:39 Agreed. He got off easy for spitting on someone.
We've got a bunch of slack jawed pha**ots on the ES.
In my neck of the woods that haircut alone would get him an ass kicking.
Video was running, nobody spit on anybody, unless that portion of the video was erased.
Thank you, 829, if there was a spitting incident, that would have been the first photo in the article. I'll agree that it never happened. After all, the video equipment seemed like it was working just fine.
Watch the video! The guy definitely spit...on the floor...not AT anybody. I wonder if everybody screaming "COP HATERS!!!" read that the COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE PRESSED CHARGES AGAINST THE OFFICER.
AMEN brother. Disrespect and get your ass busted. Youth and most adults don't respect the uniform anymore. 30 years ago that terd would need some dental work. Got what he deserved!!!!!!
