Cop Kills Unarmed Man After Sarcastic Remark

A campus police offer in San Antonio has been placed on paid leave following the shooting of an unarmed student who directed a sarcastic remark toward the officer.

The incident took place Friday morning during a traffic stop close to the University of the Incarnate Word. KSAT News reports that 23-year-old honor student Robert Cameron Redus was shot to death by Cpl. Christopher Carter at around around 2 a.m.

After pulling Redus over for speeding, according to the police report, witnesses said that the officer emptied his gun into the student, without warning and despite the fact he was unarmed.

This scumbag cop has been employed with 8 different police agencies within the last 7 years. think there's a problem here?

Apparently cops walk around LIVING in fear. A cloud casts a shadow and they become MORE afraid. Somebody's gotta die. I have never seen a group of people, armed to the hilt and wearing bulletproof gear, so afraid of everything in their vicinity. Four cops and their attack dog listen to an unarmed drunk yelling insults and they beat him into 200 stitches, later claiming they were "in fear" for their safety. After "he was reaching for a weapon", "I was afraid" is the second biggest "Get out of jail free" card there is....of course, these same guys (and the same State's Attorney's blessing their actions) tell "we, the people", whom they've disarmed, that when WE are "afraid", we have to be allow the mayhem to continue. If WE shoot, it's murder. They shoot? A normal reaction to fear. Even if it's a 13 year old kid, turning around to see who is yelling.....

What's the dash cam show?

Cops are not required to render aid, per the Supreme Court.

Cops are told that their life is more valuable than another's.

Cops are told that their buddies are more important than the public.

Cops are told that they have a green- light to do anything necessary to keep somebody from "resisting" any order.

Cops are told that they ARE the color of law, not that they should enforce the written law.

And many of them are either too stupid or too unethical to realize or care what is going on. Their hiring profiles prove it.

This is only going to get worse until bad cops go to jail or vigilantism takes hold.

And there are the same types within the ranks at SPD and the administration loves them.

Overhyped, biased, antipolice media isn't telling the whole story as usual.

MMmm , seems a bit one sided .
Maybe the cop needed target practice!

8:13 overhyped so you don't think this individuals having to change jobs 8 times in less then 7 years shows a potential problem that should have been dealt with more professionally? then you wonder why people don't trust the police! just a bunch of slaves,
serving their masters and generating revenue!

It's going to come to a point when people will be shooting first and claiming they feared for their lives. And, that may not be so far off.

Highly doubtful this occurred as described. The writer and rag it's published in obviously took a liberal and slanted view of the incident with little details. It's always funny to me how they interview family and friends of a suspect and they always comment that he was such a good guy send would never do anything wrong. Well Ted Bundy was a charming guy, when he wasn't a serial killer.
