BREAKING NEWS: House Renews Ban On Plastic Weapons

The House has renewed a ban on firearms that can evade metal detectors, which would prohibit all-plastic weapons produced by 3-D printers; the Senate is expected to vote next.

from what I saw and read so of the 3d printers were only making some of the parts. most new guns are mostly plastic now

2:53 The ATF recently tested one of the 3D printer gun designs and, although it tore itself apart after a few rounds, it was still effective and lethal.

Like, we expect criminals to follow this law? Murder is illegal but some people still do it. Why waste time passing a law that no one is going to follow?

1121 this prevents mass production of plastic weapons which obviously limits their availability to those that would do us harm. Right now you have streets flooded with traditional weapons largely because crooks rob gun owners while they (owner) is away. Those guns are then used on the streets. Imagine what would happen if those same crooks are stealing plastic firearms instead.

I've seen plastic weapons fire quite well and others not so much. The government could ban breathing, but no one would obey. Same as any other law/ban including this one.

How about fixing this country instead of worrying about controlling peoples FREE WILL
