At Least 3.5 Million Americans Have Now Had Their Health Insurance Policies Canceled Thanks To Obamacare

Americans see potential for winners and losers under health law, causing anxiety and confusion

WASHINGTON (AP)
— Now is when Americans start figuring out that President Barack Obama's health care law goes beyond political talk, and really does affect them and people they know.

With a cranky federal website complicating access to new coverage and some consumers being notified their existing plans are going away, the potential for winners and losers is creating anxiety and confusion.

"I've had questions like, 'Are they going to put me in jail if I don't buy insurance? Because nobody will sell it to me,'" said Bonnie Burns, a longtime community-level insurance counselor from California. "We have family members who are violently opposed to 'Obamacare' and they are on Medicaid — they don't understand that they're already covered by taxpayer benefits.

"And then there is a young man with lupus who would have never been insurable," Burns continued. "He is on his parents' plan and he'll be able to buy his own coverage. They are very relieved."

A poll just out from the nonpartisan Kaiser Family Foundation documents shifts in the country in the month since insurance sign-ups began.

Fifty-five percent now say they have enough information to understand the law's impact on their family, up 8 percentage points in just one month. Part of the reason is that advertising about how to get coverage is beginning to register.

"The law is getting more and more real for people," said Drew Altman, the foundation's president. "A lot of this will turn on whether there's a perception that there have been more winners than losers. ... It's not whether an expert thinks something is a better insurance policy, it's whether people perceive it that way."

Well if you heard obama bin laden's speech yesterday or when ever..

He NOW SAYS at the end of his statements with regard to the "Keeping your plan if you like your plan" crap,. he now says "What we said was, if you like your current plan, you can keep your current plan, IF it has not been changed by the Affordable care act law"

SO what this means is, every policy gets affected by the new ACA law and so in essence all will lose their health care plans they are currently on...

YOU SEE, YOU DUMB @SS Americans will listen and believe anything...

I TOLD YOU ALL DUMB @SSES FROM DAY ONE, ITS ALL IN THE LANGUAGE, ITS ALL IN HOW THEY SPEAK, TALK AND SAY WHAT THEY SAY...

THESE PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT IF YOU TELL THE TRUTH ONCE that all other shit before doesn't count and at the same time they negate to tell you the truth until AFTER THEY GOT WHAT THEY WANTED...

NOTICE how not once did Obama bin laden say that statement to its entirety until it is already law, it can't and won't be taken out of law and now that everyone sees the cost increases, but only dumb @ss americans would believe it wouldn't rise in cost...

DON"T WORRY THOUGH, we will get a single payer system run entirely by the government and you won't have to worry about losing any type of care because you will had already lost all of it...

BUT HEY I guess you will have to WAIT UNTIL IT AFFECTS YOU LIKE IT DID THE hospital workers at PRMC before you will actually care to help US, WHO ARE TRYING TO FIGHT THIS...

BUT UNTIL THEN I guess I will still be called a racist or a bigot or un-american or dumb or conspiracy theorist or a tin hat wearing mofo...

BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW if you can SEE IT, READ IT, LIVE IT, BREATHE IT, conclude from the evidence that such is true, that we are just stupid racist people who are conspiracy theorist... and know absolutely nothing yet each and every time I am 100% right....

So before you run your mouth, I TOLD YOU ALL SO AND I WILL GLADLY SAY IT AGAIN ONCE WE GET A SINGLE PAYER SYSTEM....

As I posted earlier:

I still blame the (un)Affordable-Care(less) act...think about it...

The regime knew the law required a minimum coverage level - or no changes after implementation to remain grandfathered. The insurance companies knew about the grandfathering requirements - all they had to do was make a slight change to render their policies as unqualified...and did so.

The regime's intentional lack of transparency (gotta pass it to see what's in it - just like a stool sample) hid that potential gotcha from all of the people to be impacted. Would they have allowed their representatives to vote for this boondoggle knowing they would get screwed? Considering the Democrat mentality they probably would anyway!

I can't buy Juan Williams report!

This regime is destroying the country - let's hope we can change it before it is too late!

Yes, the peasants are revolting - and they'll be rebelling soon too!
