Not only is the government (partially) shut down, but now a caravan of truck drivers is looking to shut down traffic around Washington -- as part of a bizarre protest against things that are "destroying America."
The group, Truckers Ride for the Constitution, is trying to attract participants for a demonstration on the Capital Beltway starting this Friday.
"Truck drivers will not haul freight! ... Truckers will lead the path to saving our country if every American rides with them!" the group's Facebook page, which had more than 57,000 "likes" as of Tuesday morning, declares.
The truckers reportedly plan to clog the Beltway by driving "three lanes deep" for three days.

I hope they arrest everyone one. Traffic is bad enough, it is inexcusable to do this to people using the roads.

Another bunch of village idiots....no real purpose or cause. It will take a lot more than the twenty or so trucks that show up to fix things
why would you say OBAMA LOVER? Because someone says something rational? a bunch of trucks causing a traffic jam would do nothing for America but cause an inconvenience to travelers.

You should be supporting this protest instead of continually whining.
"It won't do any good. Nothing will change. It's an INCONVEINENCE".
It's call a right to peaceful assembly to address grievances to our government.
I am so sorry you feel inconvenienced. But keep sitting on your butt and complaining when something is finally being done to attempt change to make things better.
When you get what you so passively are allowing to happen to this country, THEN you will really complain.
But by then it will be TOO LATE.
So please try to understand and show some support for the patriots who are fighting for ALL of us.
