What better place than a library to seek knowledge, and on this day, the Maryland Health Connection van arrives in Columbia carrying a load of information on how the Affordable Care Act can work for Marylanders.
"We spend most of our time giving information and correcting a lot of wrong information that's out there, but they understand that we're not in a race and that there's time," said Pat Gussio of Healthy Howard.
In its first week alone, Maryland's website has drawn 170,000 visitors and more than 13,000 have set up accounts, but only 326 of them have actually enrolled drawing a mixed reaction over its implementation.

Do they mention that a so-called account is what you end up with after trying out the system to determine a rate quote?
Furthermore, did they also mention that you can never delete said account from their system??
From my perspective, an account is nothing more than an easy way for the state to track you down to cough-up the penalty for not buying into all this crap.
Anyone care to dispute this observation?
Other articles said that once you choose the "opt out" when you see how high the rates are, and how high the deductible is, they know you probably did not get coverage elsewhere--they TAKE the penalty via the IRS...if it is not paid, your license will eventually be suspended, and if you own a house a lien is put against it. Thanks Obamacare!
