Many Question Ireton's Intent With Lore' Chambers

With a $750,000.00 lawsuit now facing Mayor Jim Ireton and the City of Salisbury, many have questioned if the whole thing has been in the works for some time now.

Go back to Jim Ireton's original campaign for Mayor. Ireton pledged to get rid of Lore' Chambers and that position all together. Like everything else though, once elected Ireton turned on all his pledges as well as friends.

Some have suggested the former Mayor put pressure on Ireton to keep Lore' and as an outsider I have to admit, either we were ALL fooled the entire time Ireton was running or Ireton had other plans.

What I can tell you is on the day Ireton fired Lore' Chambers he had summoned Jake Day, Shanie Shields and Lora Mitchell to the Government Office Building for a meeting and did NOT contact Tim Spies or Terry Cohen. This created a quorum  for starters but mysteriously it also surrounded Ireton with those people he most wanted to become witnesses. Ireton had already known Lore' had turned in her resume, so it was just a matter of time before the fireworks would start.

When Ireton threw his hissy fit he did so right in front of ALL of the people mentioned. Convenient how the whole thing can't be discussed because it's now a personnel matter. Funny how the rest of the main stream media makes no mention of this.

This is why so many are questioning/wondering, was the whole thing fixed? Could the whole thing have been pre planned so Lore' gets what she wants and Ireton gets what he wants? However, at who's expense, the taxpayers, that's who.

All I can say is, "it was your election to lose". There are so many questionable Ireton cases, like the ladies room at MoJo's. The constant hissy fits and temper tantrums, even on PAC 14.

Many do not believe Chambers and that whole situation was real. Many just keep covering their eyes and ears. Keep believing they got good money for the old Station 16 in Downtown or that the new Fire Palace actually cost $14,000,000.00. Here's a stretch, how about that $84,000,000.00 Waste Water Treatment Plant that will now cost around $140,000,000.00 when completed.

I've spent many years trying to open every one's eyes and guess what, I've proven to be right EVERY single time. I've won EVERY single lawsuit against me. I've been called a liar and crazy, yet I've won against every single critic and guess what, who's still here after all these years. The Chambers/Ireton thing STINKS. Are your blinders still on? Are you going to sit back and bend over yet again as the taxpayer who will be footing the bill for this possible shenanigans?

My guess after all these years, OF COURSE YOU WILL.

This should teach everyone not to act in haste.Learn to bite your tongue. And if you do go apeshit on someone and find out later that you're wrong, just apologize.By then it will most likely be too late, but do it anyway.

I'm wondering what percentage Ireton gets after Chambers wins this lawsuit?

Because Jim is a man of his word! Remember when he said that in the news article.

I can't help but wonder why there was a press release on this lawsuit when there are other lawsuits that were filed long before this one and they are kept private? Everyone knows about Ireton's fits of rage!

If she gets the job she stands a chance of getting fired again. There is a new election coming up and a new mayor may get rid of her. I would stick with the law suit.

I have been waiting for the job announcement so that I could apply. I never saw one. What happen and why wasn't it announced?

1:30-Probably the same place they announced the old fire station for sale. A teeny tiny blurb on the government website no doubt. It appears more and more everyday that Salisbury could be the poster city for sleazeball politicians.

Very, very suspicious these things going on.

Somebody tell that woman in the picture to close her legs. That is just gross the way she is sitting.

Mayor may have planned the firing confrontation, or not.

Can't speak to Chambers' skill in the job.

But she is being represented by a real lawyer from a sizable western shore firm that deals with these matters routinely. They are not tied to the locals and can represent their client solely.

Plaintiff lawyers generally take cases like this on a contingency basis. They will take a healthy chunk of the judgement or settlement.

If there is no money awarded they are out of pocket for their time and the time of staffers at the firm. So they are reluctant to undertake an unpromising lawsuit.

Obviously their review convinced them that taking the case would benefit their client.

Maybe you should run for county Executive and abolish the city. We need you Joe. Your unbiased well thought vision is needed. I am certain the election was fixed. I know well over a 1000 people that said they voted for you.

The County Executive can't abolish the city. Are you sure you a qualified to vote?

She should not get the job. A better people person with qualifications should get the job. Tommy Boi is not qualified.

I do agree with you on this. F.U. Ireton!

I thot the entity (city) couldn't be sued. I know I read that somewhere.
