As in, its advised to take caution and shelter in case a tsunami develops. I'd trust the USGS they are some brilliant folks.
God help Japan they certainly do not deserve that its a shame. What should happen is a devastating sink hole open while Obama is sleeping in the $hit house
I hear somewhere that the ORR fish, (that crazy long flat fish) that washed up twice in California did that only when a great earth quake was about to happen.

A tsunami can actually pass under a boat or ship in the open ocean and just shake it like a speed bump.Not until it reaches the shore does it increase in volume and height.A 15" high tsunami could be 15' by the time it arrived on land.
