No Comments from the peanut gallery? It is quite obvious they even know we do not need the Professional Firefighters everyday once in awhile we do need them. just is in every pretty major city or town.

Again no big fires in Salisbury. No nee for the "Professional Firefighters" as noted in the above comment. The so called structure fire was Fruitland's call. No need to for Salisbury residents to pay for paid firemen to go to Fruitland. The volunteers can handle that with no problem.

Well word on the street is that The city of salisbury has currently started sitework on the north end of salisbury behind the target building for a new "Emergency Services Building" Which is going to house the salisbury city police as well as a 24 hour paid paramedic crew and a paid 24 hour engine crew. Of course that all may be false unless the details come to the surface, but i dont think that another fire company is needed in the city of salisbury as Delmar can handle anything on that side of town if needed. Like i said this was told to me by a few people so it could be a rumor but was also told that this information as been a well kept secret between the higher ups in the salisbury fire dept. Maybe someone will investigate this
