That webcam is pointed in just the right direction. Sad to see it all being destroyed.

They should call Berlin, Trimble could round up every redneck for three states providing they support racisim, bigotry, and bias

This is the last thing they needed there after Hurricane Sandy. They probably just got things up and going again and now this happens.

That is really a sad thing to happen truly. Just read on line something worse happened to that poor town. They filmed Jersey Shore there. What trash.

856-Sadly, 30-40 years ago Seaside was tolerable. But it's been circling the drain, like Ocean City, for the better part of the last couple decades.

As a person who grew up going to the "Jersey Shore" 40 years ago, I'm glad it's burning down. Hopefully the trash won't come back, but I doubt it.

Looks like an insurance scam. End of summer season then a convenient fire? Yeah Right.

Great! now we will be stuck with all them for another summer. Can't we just lie and say our O.C. just fell in the ocean so they stay north. lol

Trust me they won't be coming here next summer... Most people in New Jersey know how much they are hated here. Sea side had changed into a nice family place that closed up at midnight and was very peaceful. They will be rebuilt by next season and still have bigger crowds than oc just like they did this past summer!

Oh and the cast of jersey shore raised and donated 1 million dollars to help the jersey shore recover from hurricane sandy... I'd say that was a class act. You can all bash New Jersey and the shore but at least their governor gives a crap. He was there as the fire happened and was again there this morning. You people here just don't get. That explains why the shore is such a joke.... Ocean City will never have the history the jersey shore has, and if any recent indications are correct things here will continue slide down......

Hey look at that not even 24 hours after the fire and the boardwalk is already up and running. The fire may have done a lot of damage but have no fear born here's your tourism dollars will continue to shrink....... Jersey Strong will bring theirs back..... Can the same be said for the Eastern Shore? I think not

First with water, then with fire...seems rather biblical. Not to mention there were 696 days between hurricane sandy and this fire destroying the jersey boards.

Hardly biblical.... And the boardwalk wasn't destroyed. It was four blocks of damage that will certainly be rebuilt for next summer. The difference is up there they don't blame the government and complain. They roll up their sleeves and fix it. Next summer they won't be worrying about demo flush numbers ..... Oc can put up all the billboards they want up there, the word is out about how much tourists are hated here. They will happily support their own. You locals can be as negative as they want the jokes on you along with the poor economy, even the Canadians are going south....
