On Sunday, September 15, 2013, at approximately 2:25 p.m., Ocean City Communications received a call for a house fire in the area of 94th Street on the bayside. Ocean City Fire Department personnel responded to the home, which was a three unit townhouse, and found fire coming from the building upon their arrival.
At this time, the Ocean City Fire Department is on scene attempting to extinguish the fire. Along with members of the Ocean City Fire Department, crews from the Ocean Pines Fire Department, Sussex County Delaware, Ocean City Fire Boat 1 and the Ocean City Police Department are also on scene.
The fire is currently under control. No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Ocean City Fire Marshal’s Office.

Salisbury Fire boat is next due and responding. Will be in the area some time tomorrow morning. Had to re-alert for Salisbury numerous times to get someone who knew how to start the fire boat. They are now trying to read the owners manual.
