The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency announced Thursday that the state's four casinos generated $71 million in revenue in August, nearly three-quarters of it from the state's largest casino, Maryland Live!
Officials from the Maryland Lottery say Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County, Casino at Ocean Downs in Worcester County, Maryland Live Casino in Anne Arundel County, and Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Allegany County brought in a total revenue of $71,015,560.
According to officials, Maryland Live! in Hanover brought in the most revenue with $53 million in August. Following Maryland Live! was Hollywood Casino Perryville, which brought in $7.6 million; the Casino at Ocean Downs, which generated nearly $6 million; and Rocky Gap Casino Resort, which made $4 million.

OK 71 Million in revenue how much profit? Assuming there is a profit how does that effect the overall state budget?
