Wednesday was a big day in Washington, D.C. Huge crowds swarmed the area beneath the Lincoln Memorial and along the Reflecting Pool as three American presidents — Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter (George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush could not attend due to health reasons) — a host of congressional representatives and dignitaries gathered to mark the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington and Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a dream” speech.
There are no official crowd size numbers given for events held on the National Mall. The U.S. Park Police stopped giving crowd estimates following a very public disagreement on crowd size after 1995′s “Million Man March.”
Multiple news outlets reported that a crowd in excess of 100,000 people was expected on the National Mall Wednesday. How many people actually attended? Did Obama, Clinton, Carter and others manage to bring as large a crowd as Glenn Beck did for Restoring Honor exactly three years earlier on Aug. 28, 2010? It depends on who you’re talking to.

I think we need to restore HONOR, the sad thing, I don't think we'll see in our lifetime.... How about the O'Malley speech??? Very scary he could be the next President, but don't think that will happen....

Well, Beck, who has a national radio and television presence was able to promote his event multiple times a day for weeks before the event. And it was an event, all day with multiple speakers, shows and acts. I really don't think this is a fair comparison.... nor do I understand what the point is.
I notice there are no pictures of John Stewarts "Restoring Sanity" event, showing how many people showed up for that... hmmm... I wonder what that means?
8:25, Obama is the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES and has a the media in his pocket, he has billionaire Soros organising for AMerica, he has infinitely more radio, t.v internet and print media presence than Glenn Beck. Lord there is no end to a liberals dishonesty.

While those assertions can be debated, there are a few things to point out.
1) I am not a liberal, in fact I'm registered Republican and identify as conservative, since when does honesty, truth, or perspective have anything to do with party affiliation?
2) There was not weeks of daily advertising on any of those media outlets you mentioned for the Presidents event, multiple times a day... so, I'm not sure what point you are trying to make by asserting that the POTUS has the media in his pocket, and how that is relevant to turn out levels at and event
3) You said there was something dishonest about what I posted, can you point that out specifically?
4) Can you answer for me why there is no comparison to John Stewarts "Restoring Sanity" and what that may mean?

9:51-This recent rally was extensively publicized for weeks on end by the MSM. All summer I've been hearing about this rally commemorating the anniversary of MLK's speech in DC and where to best park and how to use the public transportation among other things such as who was going to speak. About bus trips nationwide being organized and on and on.

FYI. billionaire George Soros & his organizations have majority ownerships of all major MSM TV stations, except FOX. Fox is Pro Republican, everyone else is Pro Democrat with small variations in between. I would bet majority of Obama's "voters" couldn't get the free ride.to the National Mall. They only "provide" those free ride buses come election time. And if you "Vote Correctly" you might get a "free burger" @ McDonalds and "free" Obama phone as well.

Glenn Beck and the Tea party are a sleeping giant that will surprise everyone in the next elections if we can hold on that long.
The Beck crowd also picked up all their trash, and neatly bagged it for disposal. They left the area looking like no event had taken place there. Look at other events by libs/dems...they TRASH the place, are total pigs, destroy things and leave a huge mess.
