BEIRUT (AP) — Israeli warplanes struck areas in and around the Syrian capital of Damascus on Sunday, setting off a series of explosions as they targeted a shipment of highly accurate, Iranian-made guided missiles believed to be bound for Lebanon’s Hezbollah militant group, officials and activists said.
The attack, the second in three days and the third this year, signaled a sharp escalation of Israel‘s involvement in Syria’s bloody civil war. Syrian state media reported that Israeli missiles struck a military and scientific research center near the capital and caused casualties.
Syria’s Foreign Ministry condemned the attacks, saying the “flagrant Israeli aggression aims to give direct military support to terrorist groups” fighting the government. Syria refers to rebels trying to topple President Bashar Assad’s regime as “terrorists.”

Um, will someone tell me why the US is sending aid to the Syrian rebels who have been identified as Al Quaida, to overthrow a Syrian government? Is aiding Al-Quaida what we really want to do? Isn't that a lot like donating Cordite, pressure cookers, and trigger mechanisms to the Tsarnev brothers from a lemonade stand at the Boston Marathon?

Because there are a lot of ignorant people like Chuck Cook and Jim Ireton that support the Muslim.
6:08 the globalist oligarchy that controls key elements of our government play on the general publics stupidity or lack of concern with global affairs.
We have no business there. Let them do their thing.
647, funny. Must be alot of muslims in the GOP as well. Seems to me most of the calls for even more involvement into this situation have come from the right.
They've been at war with one another since time began. Let them kill one another & stay out of it. BRING all our troops home. It's not like we can't find something for them to protect...like our BORDERS.
Time to let our young die for nothing. How about bring our troops home take care of them the way they should be, and stop calling them terrorists. We need to mind our own bussines and leave other countries to take care of themselves.
Turn Israel loose and nuke Iran. Those Muslim bottom feeders have no desire for peace.
We should be sending loads of missiles and bombs to Israel so they can take care of our Muslim problem over there, and let our local militias have hunting season on Muslims here!
