Well, he is insane. Unfortunately, That's the problem! Are we trying to fix this? Is there proposed legislation? F__k no. Our wonderful society has absolutely no in place rules for dealing with people with serious, or for that matter extremely minor mental illnesses.

This is beyond minor mental illness. He was aware he was doing wrong at the time which is what defines legal sanity. He was sane enough to ask for a lawyer when he was read his rights...therefore...SANE.
What, no new legislation proposed? I'm shocked!
His psychiatrist was afraid to report him because of possible retalliation.Remember,nothing can be done until after a crime has been committed,so red flags are overrated.He most likely would have killed her if she had done the right thing.
Good comments. We should get rid of due process and The Constitution so we can get revenge on the suspect as soon as possible.
While we're at it, we'll just get rid of all of The Bill of Rights. No amendment is really needed if you're not guilty of anything right?
