Internal Revenue Service officials in Washington and at least two other offices were involved in the targeting of conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, making clear the effort reached well beyond the branch in Cincinnati that was initially blamed, according to documents obtained by The Washington Post.Whoa.
IRS officials at the agency’s Washington headquarters sent queries to conservative groups asking about their donors and other aspects of their operations, while officials in the El Monte and Laguna Niguel offices in California sent similar questionnaires to tea party-affiliated groups.
Okay, so it appears the Washington Post report contradicts the IRS official who claimed last week that the political targeting was done by “low-level” staffers in Cincinnati.

How much do they need to do before the average, uneducated, as long as I get my check, never paid attention in history class, never read a book and couldn't tell you the name of one Supreme Court justice fool says "enough!"? First amendment rights? Gone. Fourth Amendment? Trashed and obliterated. Fifth Amendment? History. Sixth Amendment? Overruled and slapped down. Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Amendment? Laughed at and legislated out of real existence. Pervasive and intrusive surveillance like never before seen, even in Communist countries. Fast & Furious (resulting in the murder of a federal agent), IRS being used as a political weapon. Widespread stopping and searching of millions (say THAT again for effect) of innocent people. Warrantless searches and secret trials (in the USA!). Drones and other military equipment being used against the civilian population. What does it take? Politicians acting like the Roman Proletariat instead of elected representatives acting in the interest of "we, the people". Banning weapons (the Second Amendment drops off the map any day) and buying ammo banned for use in war (but OKAY for use on American citizens). Warrantless wiretapping. Confiscation of private property. Signal intercepts of ALL communications by American citizens. Wake up. Or at least, stop cheering so loudly. You won't be cheering when that AR-15 keeps jabbing you in the back to walk faster. Or else.
How high up? - to the Communist-in-Chief of course! These are standard communist tactics for the elimination of opposition and the middle class in general.
A typical day in politics. And it trickles down to the local level. Blog owners beware of those in law enforcement who you may give access to your codes for entering data. And former government workers beware of those in law enforcement who may surprisingly contact you by e-mail asking how you are doing. They just may be gaining access to your pc codes in order to monitor your activity on the blogs. Many in government today seek friends who can advance them.
