January 9, 2013 (Salisbury, MD) Wicomico County Councilwoman Sheree Sample-Hughes will host her first District One Citizen’s Forum for 2013 on Monday, January 14 at 6:30pm at the Charles H. Chipman Cultural Center, 325 Broad Street in Salisbury.
Mrs. Sample-Hughes said the over-all theme of the forums, “Creating Community Connections,” is relevant now more than ever since District 1 was revised during last year’s redrawing of district lines. “I’m looking forward to introducing myself as the local representative to those citizens who are now a part of district one and making that connection,” said Councilwoman Sample-Hughes.
Fulfilling a campaign promise, Mrs. Sample-Hughes has been hosting these forums since she was elected in 2006. She will be joined by Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis and Wicomico County Executive Rick Pollitt. She commented that the forums provide citizens with an opportunity to engage in a dialogue with their elected officials about the community’s needs and concerns.
Sample-Hughes is encouraging citizens to attend the meeting and bring their comments and ideas regarding issues and opportunities the county is facing.

Mrs. Sample Hughes has been a huge failure at her employment of Shore-Up. Many of the people she has hired have been fired for stealing , mis-use of a vehicle, this program shows the effect on the funds provided her for help.
Sorry Mrs. Hughes , right is right.
