Detectives Seek Public’s Help In Locating Subjects


Location:  Various County Banks in Sussex County, Delaware
 
Date of Occurrence:   June – August 2011
 
Victim:
  • County Banks located in Milford, Seaford, Georgetown, and Milton
 
Suspect(s) and Charges:
  • Jim C. Taylor, 50, Baltimore, MD (Photo Attached, black male)
  • Forgery 2nd
  • Attempted Theft by False Pretense
 
  • Keith S. Brown 2nd, 34, Bel Air, MD (Photo Attached, white t-shirt )
  • Forgery 2nd (2 counts)

Sussex County, DE- The Delaware State Police Financial Crimes Unit is asking the public’s assistance in attempting to locate three subjects involved in multiple counts of fraud.
 
The incidents took place over a three month period starting in June of 2011 when the suspects would enter the County Banks located in various locations throughout Sussex County and cash fraudulent checks made out to them from various businesses.  Detectives were able to establish identities of the suspects through forms of identifications used during the transactions.  In all, more than $9,000.00 was defrauded from the banks.
