As if this State doesn't have 'bigger fish to fry' - our own illustrious Delegate Rudy Cane sponsors his first 2013 session legislation - designate the Soft Shell Crab as the official State Sandwich. Great - what else are the taxpayers in store to be paying for next? I am not making this stuff up.

I would rather he fool with this than pass anymore of the crazy laws he's voted on!
If it sells more soft shell crabs or creates interest in soft shell crabs then I support this. Waterman need all the help they can get. While I understand the sentiment, the reality is our representatives will cast hundreds of votes. This is one bill of many. I highly doubt anyone's attention has bee diverted from raising our taxes or infringing upon our Constitutional Rights.
Come to think of it, this is Maryland people, maybe we'd be better off if they did focus on things like this!
Rudy really had no ability ever going into that job. He was voted in that district because it was set up for a black person to win.
There's something about legs sticking out from a sandwich that I just have an issue with. I think crab cake sandwich would be a better choice.
Doesn't the government have more important issues to discuss, agree upon, and vote on than silly issues like sandwiches, cakes, games, etc.? I think it makes them and the wonderful people that live here look foolish.
Cut their salary, limit them to a term of 3 months and satff od no more than three. Or hang them. Either one is good.
